Leaf (digital reissue)

Dear everyone,
here is the last re-release of a work of mine featuring the artwork by the British designer Vaughan Oliver.

While digging in the archives and folders, I stumbled in a presentation letter I’ve penned down in April 2014, which perfectly describes this important work of mine.

‘Leaf’ is my new work, and it’s inspired by one of the most common things we can find in everyday’s life. Seen from a distance, a leaf is just a little piece of green, like the days in an entire lifespan. Small irrelevant things. But if we get closer and pay more attention, a bigger world will disclose to our eyes, revealing inner structures and small secret paths, some wider and strong, some others thin and frail. Like our everyday actions and events we accidentally stumble on. Everything could happen in a sudden, making us realise we’re nothing if compared to nature’s plans. In the end we’re just little delicate things. Like leaves.

‘Leaf’ was released as a limited edition CD on my previous personal label Stella Recordings (SR02CD, March 2016). Another CD version of this album, featuring a different artwork, was released exclusively for the Japanese market on P*Dis (PDIP-6561, January 2016).

The Belgian label Brooklyn Bridge Records also produced this album on a wonderful 12″ deluxe vinyl set, including a beautiful 10″ inner booklet featuring the artwork by the German artist Claudia Pomowski and, needless to say, a stunning design by Vaughan Oliver.
You can still buy a copy of the vinyl deluxe edition here.

Some videos were produced as well.
Here is the video of “Mother” and here is the video of “Shoreline”.

This album is dedicated to the memory of my father Franco Guzzetti (1941-2017).

Thank you very much for your support
